Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully. They are a legal agreement between you and Ruby & Rosie's Dog Wash & Grooming, LLC ("Ruby & Rosie's," "we," "us," or "our") and govern your use of our website at rubyandrosies.com, our online booking application, and the services we provide at our location in Carmel, Indiana.
By creating an account, booking an appointment, using our self-serve wash bays, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms. These Terms include our Privacy Policy and our Salon Policies, each of which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to create an account or book services. By using our services, you represent that you meet these requirements.
Ruby & Rosie's provides professional dog grooming, DIY self-serve dog wash bays, related in-store services, and an online platform for booking appointments and managing your account. Every grooming service includes a professional bath, external ear cleaning, and nail trimming and filing; what is included in each package, and the services we do and do not provide, are described in our Salon Policies. We may add, change, or discontinue services at any time.
You may create an account directly or by signing in with Google. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials and your account secure and for all activity under your account. We verify logins using a one-time passcode sent by text message. Please keep your contact information accurate and current so we can reach you about appointments. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
Prices are shown at the time of booking and may change. You are responsible for applicable taxes. Payments are processed by Stripe, our third-party payment processor; by booking or paying, you agree to Stripe's terms and authorize us, through Stripe, to charge your selected payment method for the services you book and any applicable cancellation or no-show fees described in Section 7.
Price adjustments. The final price of a grooming service may differ from the booked or estimated price where your pet's coat, condition, or behavior requires additional time, products, or handling — for example, significant matting, additional deshedding time, or behavioral challenges. We will make reasonable efforts to discuss any expected adjustment with you at check-in or before proceeding, and you authorize us to charge the adjusted amount to your payment method or card on file. Our approach to price adjustments is described in plain language in our Salon Policies.
If you choose to save a card for grooming services, you authorize Ruby & Rosie's, through Stripe, to store your card and to charge it for the grooming services you book, including any add-ons or price adjustments under Section 5 and any cancellation or no-show fees under Section 7. We will charge the card after your service is completed, in the amount of the services provided plus applicable taxes and fees. You may remove a saved card or withdraw this authorization at any time by updating your account or contacting us, except for charges already incurred. We keep a record of this authorization.
We hold your appointment time specifically for your pet, so timely notice matters.
By booking, you authorize us to charge these fees to your payment method or card on file as described in Sections 5 and 6. We apply this policy consistently and will tell you the applicable notice window and fees at the time you book.
By bringing your pet to Ruby & Rosie's or using our self-serve wash bays, you represent and agree that:
You agree to be responsible for any injury or damage caused by your pet to people, other animals, or property while at our location.
Fleas. If fleas are found on your pet during a visit, for the health and safety of the other animals in our care you will be asked to pick your pet up promptly. We will be glad to reschedule once your pet has been appropriately treated and is confirmed flea-free. This policy is described in plain language in our Salon Policies.
Grooming, washing, and handling animals carry inherent risks, including the possibility of stress, injury, or aggravation of a pre-existing or undisclosed condition, even when reasonable care is used. You acknowledge and accept these inherent risks. You authorize us to handle your pet as reasonably necessary to provide services safely.
We will not force a pet through a service. If your pet becomes overly stressed, or shows aggression, severe matting, or other conditions that make service unsafe, we may decline, stop, or modify the service and develop a plan to help your pet become more comfortable over time; standard charges may still apply for the time spent and work performed. In a medical emergency, you authorize us to seek veterinary care for your pet, and you agree to be responsible for the resulting veterinary costs. We will make reasonable efforts to contact you first.
Our self-serve wash bays are provided for your use under our posted rules and safety instructions. You use the bays at your own risk and the risk of your pet, you must supervise your pet at all times, and you are responsible for following instructions and for any damage caused by misuse. Water temperature is regulated for safety, but you remain responsible for monitoring your pet's comfort and wellbeing.
We may take photos or video of pets for our records and, unless you tell us otherwise, may use photos of your pet (not identifying you by name) to promote our business, including on social media. You may opt out at any time by contacting us.
You agree not to misuse our website, app, or services — including by interfering with their operation, attempting to access accounts or data that are not yours, using the services unlawfully, or providing false information. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms or that create risk to people, animals, or our business.
Our name, logo, branding, website, app, and content are owned by Ruby & Rosie's or our licensors and are protected by law. You may not copy, use, or distribute them without our permission, except as needed to use our services normally.
By providing your mobile number and opting in, you agree to receive transactional text messages from Ruby & Rosie's, such as login passcodes, appointment confirmations and reminders, receipts, and account notifications. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchasing any service. How we handle text-messaging data is described in our Privacy Policy.
Except as expressly stated and as required by law, our website, app, and services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the website or app will be uninterrupted or error-free. This section does not exclude any warranty or right that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ruby & Rosie's and its owners, members, and staff will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or relating to your use of our website, app, or services. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ruby & Rosie's and its owners, members, and staff from claims, damages, and reasonable expenses arising out of your pet's conduct, your violation of these Terms, or your misuse of our services, to the extent permitted by law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute that is not resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in or serving Hamilton County, Indiana, and you agree to that venue.
We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve any concern directly.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of our services after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
